Pure Fashion 2008—A Celebration of Style and Virtue
The Pure Fashion model training program for 2008 includes many fun and exciting opportunities for a young ladys' personal and physical development! Classes consists of everything from how to walk the runway, hair and makeup lessons, developing public speaking skills, how to dress appropriately for every occasion, and improving formal table manners! The 2008 Pure Fashion models are participating in an outreach project and attending a Pure Fashion model retreat which will offer presentations on "The history of fashions in America", "Body image, body type, and self-confidence", and "How to dress trendy yet still tasteful". The training sessions will be offered over a course of 8 months which will lead up to the Austin Pure Fashion Show, tentatively scheduled for April 6, 2008!

Dessert with Dad: Sunday, November 11, 2007

In this segment, Pure Fashion Models will learn how to be women of grace from a talk, while fathers have an opportunity to spend an elegant afternoon with their lovely daughters. You will be inspired to act in accordance with your dignity, as a confident, respectable, and priceless young lady.
Pure Fashion Outreach: Sunday, December 2, 2007

As the Pure Fashion Models prepare their hearts for the holiday season, what could be a more beautiful way for them to display their true beauty than by creating an opportunity for them to love and serve others. Models will help those in need, while cultivating the virtues of charity and generosity. Authentic beauty stems from a heart filled with love and concern for others.
Hair and Make-up Day: Sunday, January 13, 2008

As a Pure Fashion model, you will be invited to one of Austin's premier salons for a workshop in makeup and hair styling on Sunday, January 13th! On this day you will also have your Pure Fashion headshot taken which will be used in the program book at the Pure Fashion Show in April. The photographer is Lauren Savage Photography. The 2008 Pure Fashion models will also receive their own "Pure Fashion" make-up kit with the make-up and tools they need to enhance their own natural beauty! This will be a fun day for the models to learn make-up tips and hairstyling techniques from some of Austin's most talented hair and makeup artists! There will be a team of professional models, hairstylists and makeup artists on hand to assist in giving each young woman the necessary personal attention needed to learn the art of makeup application and modern hairstyling.
Heart and Soul Make-Over: Friday, February 8 and Saturday, September 9, 2008

Our weekend retreat will be a wonderful opportunity for the girls to "get away", have fun with each other, and focus on the reasons behind choosing to be "modest and pure". Some of the topics to be discussed on the retreat will include: body types and shopping tips, view a slide show on the do’s and don'ts of dressing to protect one’s dignity and honor, how to support retailers and designers who support and promote values and virtues, learning how to be modest but still "modern" and "stylish". Special session for Moms on Saturday afternoon.

Pure Fashion Awards: Saturday, April 19

It's time to celebrate and recount the fabulous year of Pure Fashion! We'll enjoy an evening of fun, food, and fashion as we remember the events of the year.
Models must be 14-18 years old, and all training sessions, fittings, and rehearsals are mandatory. The Pure Fashion model fee is $200 and includes a Pure Fashion make-up kit, a Pure Fashion T-shirt, two tickets to Dessert with Dad, Body and Soul Retreat, Professional Hair and Makeup with Headshots; limited financial assistance is available.
