Welcome to 2008/2009 Pure Fashion Des Moines. You and your parents will meet the Pure Fashion team and learn what it means to be a Pure Fashion model. Our team of experts will discuss the “ins and outs” of fashion and inspire us as we set out to “Change our world one outfit at a time”. Setting the Standards High

The models will be treated to an elegant afternoon with their fathers as we set the standards for "Pure Dating" high. Nationally known speaker Mark Houck (Founder of “All the Kings Men” and featured on EWTN radio) will also join us to discuss ”Modesty a Virtue Worth Fighting For”.

Pure Fashion Models will join with their mothers for an afternoon Tea. Guest speaker Callista Gould, will inspire us with lessons of etiquette and grace as we strive to act in accordance with dignity as confident, capable, respectful young women.
Elegant Expressions

Des Moines Pure Fashion models will be trendsetters and thus need the tools to effectively communicate their message of virtue. Guest Speakers will work with our models to develop skills in public speaking and the five basic principles of leadership while helping them to also understand the effects media plays on public opinion. An opportunity to practice these skills will be provided as the girls prepare to present themselves to the public as Pure Fashion ambassadors and role models on the 2009 Pure Fashion Stage!

Reflections: Professional Hair and Make-up Artistry

As a Pure Fashion model, you will be invited to one of Des Moines’ premier salons for a workshop on makeup and hairstyling. On this you will also experience a professional photo shoot with professional photographer and model Erica Fontana. This will be a fun day for the models to learn make-up tips and hairstyling techniques from some of Des Moines’ most talented hair and make up artists while discovering that ones true authentic beauty is a natural gift from God
