Introduction to Pure Fashion
SPOTLIGHT ON BEAUTY OPENING SESSION...

Please join us as we kick-off our Pure Fashion year at the Spot Light on Beauty. Parents and models are requested guests at this Event. The program will include a short fashion show by our experienced models, a meeting for the new models and an important informational meeting for the parents. Light refreshments will be served.

REFLECTIONS: PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISTRY
• January 8 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. PCI Academy, 309 kitty Hawk Dr., Ames
As a Pure fashion model, you will be invited to attend a workshop on makeup and hairstyling. On this day, you will also have your Pure Fashion headshot taken which will be used in the show program. The 2011/2012 Pure Fashion models to receive their own "Pure Fashion" make-up kit to enhance their own natural beauty! This will be a fun day for the models to learn make-up tips and hairstyling techniques from some of Ames most talented hair and make-up artists.
FATHER & DAUGHTER LUNCHEON
• February 13 • 1 p.m. – 4:30p • Des Moines Golf & Country Club
The models will be treated to an elegant afternoon with their fathers as we set the standards high for "Pure Dating". Our guest speaker will discuss the significance of the baptismal garment as it relates to the wedding dress and a father's inportant role in protecting his daughter's purity. The afternoon will conclude with professional dance instruction, as we swing and waltz across the dance floor. Wear you dancin' shoes.
MALL MISSION
• March 4 • 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. Jordan Creek Mal
Models will have the opportunity to be Pure Fashion ambassadors to mall shoppers, while also learning to coordinate outfits that are tasteful yet trendy. The session will begin at 1:30 for model's only, moms will join us later for a light supper before attending a private after hours preview of the lastest spring fashions hosted by Iowa's premier teen boutique, Francesca's. Models should dress professionally in their Pure Fashion t-shirts, black skirts or loose fitting business slacks.

RUNWAYS FOR LIFE
• May 6 • 1:30 – 4:30p • Des Moines Pastoral Center
Take this time to solidify your understanding of the virtues of a Pure Fashion Model, a Model of the Great Designer." Find out how to handle the "runways of life." Learn how to walk the walk and practice real techniques of runway modeling.
June 4-9
Models should keep entire week open for in-store private fittings and rehearsals for the 2012 Pure Fashion Show.
Our Pure Fashion Show will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the West Des Moines Marriott. The week prior to the show, you will need to attend fitting sessions and rehearsals, so keep your calendar clear!
