CHARLOTTE, NC - From Girls Gone Wild, to Girls Gone Mild. "Modesty" is captivating the Carolinas. There's a movement underway to turn girls away from sky high skirts and jaw dropping necklines. It's called "pure fashion".

MODEL TRAINING PROGRAM!!
Pure Fashion Models are guided to embrace their authentic beauty and to come to understand that they are children of God. Our eight-month Model Training Program begins in October and will end with an exciting fashion event showing the latest spring fashions and designs in 2010! Stay tuned for more information!
The cost of the 2009 - 2010 programs is $195.00. This amount covers the model's ticket to the Mother-Daughter Tea and the cost of the Pure Fashion Makeover Weekend as well as speaker fees. A separate $20 Insurance fee will be charged from Mission Network during on-line Volunteer registration as a Model.

Fall Fashion Show: Our Pure Fashion sister city of Greensboro has invited returning Pure Fashion models from Raleigh to participate in a fashion show during Macy's Shop for A Cause Day. This is an exciting opportunity to join together and celebrate with Macy's in promoting their new fall collections! Show is at 1:00 pm at Macy's Friendly Center, Greensboro, NC

Mother-Daughter Tea: A lovely tea catered by Savory Street will be held at the historic Weir-Jordan House in Downtown Greensboro. Etiquette tips will be offered by Mrs. H. Brooks Copeland, Director of the Northern Guilford Chapter of National League of Junior Cotillions. Pure Fashion encourages good manners and social graces which reflect, honor, respect and dignity. The price of model's tea is included in the training program fee. Mothers and guests may purchase tickets at the door for $15.00 each. Heart and Soul Retreat: This weekend retreat will help renew the model's beauty inside and out. Models get away for a fun weekend to reflect on the deeper meanings of modesty and purity. Guest speakers include Christina Condit and Leah Darrow. Topics include fashion tips and how to develop personal dignity and radiate true beauty through their relationships with God and others. Price of weekend is included in model training program fee. The event will be held at The Summit, located at Haw River State Park, Browns Summit, NC.

Christmas Mission: "Blessed are the pure in heart..." As the Pure Fashion Models prepare their hearts for the holiday season, what could be a more beautiful way for them to display their true beauty than by creating an opportunity for them to love and serve others. Partnering with Ronald McDonald House of Durham to help support their Heartfelt Uplifting Gifts (HUGs). All of the proceeds will be used to foster and support the community of hope, comfort, and empathy provided by the RMH to the families of critically ill children who are treated at Duke Hospital. Cary Towne Center.

Reflections / Salon Day: Each model will receive professional hairstyling and make-up to enhance her own natural beauty. This will be a fun day for the girls to learn tips and hairstyling techniques from some of the area's most talented hair designers at enV Salon and make-up artists from Sephora! Professional head shots for the spring fashion show brochure will also be taken by Michael's Memories.
