Thanksgiving Mission: "Blessed are the pure in heart..." As the Pure Fashion Models prepare their hearts for the holiday season, what could be a more beautiful way for them to display their true beauty than by creating an opportunity for them to love and serve others? We will be partnering with St. Andrew's Catholic Church and the Brown Bag Ministry in serving those in need downtown Raleigh. More details to come.

Jan. 13th-15th – Heart and Soul Retreat-Camp Oak Hill in Oxford, NC
5:00 pm Friday – 11:30 am Sunday
This weekend retreat will help renew the model's beauty inside and out. Models will get away for a fun weekend to build relationships and reflect on the deeper meanings of modesty and purity. Professional guest speakers will discuss topics including fashion tips and how to develop personal dignity and radiate true beauty through their relationships with God and others.
In addition, we will conduct our Elegant Expressions presentation as part of the retreat. Pure Fashion models are destined to be leaders and trendsetters and will therefore benefit by developing their communication skills. Special Guest Speaker, Bart Queen of “Speak America”, will conduct a fun filled workshop teaching Models public speaking skills and strategies as well as building their self-confidence.
Runway training will be conducted at the retreat as well by Pure Fashion Supermodels. Father Anthony Sortino will celebrate Mass and hear Confessions.

Reflections/Salon Day: Each model will receive professional hairstyling and make-up tips to enhance her natural beauty. This will be a fun day for Models and Moms to learn about make-up and hairstyling techniques from some of the area's most talented professionals. In addition, professional head shots will also be taken by Michael's Memories Photography & Design. More details to come.
Saturday, Feb. 25th 7-10pm
Pure Fashion Dance lessons and Dance-
Learn fun ways to dance appropriately and honor God. The Pure Fashion models will bring a dance partner & learn to dance in a fun & classy way to their modern music. During the event there will be a break out session for guys and girls on the theme of dancing with style & dignity. More details to come.
Sunday, April 1 2-8:30pm
Operation Easter Basket-St. Therese Catholic Church 700 Nash St. Northeast, Wilson, NC. The models will be assigned various items (valuing $20) to put in Easter Baskets for the children at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Wilson. They will personally deliver these baskets to them and share with them the true meaning of Easter.
One or two March Runway Training Sessions -Time/Location TBD- Learn to walk the Runway with style and grace! On and off the runway, our body language and posture speak volumes, before we even say a word. Models will be required to attend either the March runway training session in preparation of the Southern Women’s Show. More details to come.

Fittings for the Southern Women’s Show: Outfit selection and fittings will be scheduled at a sponsoring retailer. More details to come.

Rehearsal for the Southern Women’s Show: Models must attend rehearsal to participate in the Southern Women’s Show modeling event. The event will be located in the Jim Graham Building at the North Carolina State Fair Grounds, Raleigh.

Southern Women's Show: Mark your calendar for a fabulous weekend at the Southern Women’s Show. Pure Fashion will be hosting a display table during the entire weekend event. Models will grace the stage for one show on Saturday, April 14th and one show on Sunday, April 15th. Additionally, we welcome back Bart Queen & Glenna Smith, of “Speak America”, who did a fabulous job co-emceeing, last year’s shows!! The event will be located in the Jim Graham Building at the North Carolina State Fair Grounds, Raleigh. More details to come.

Reunion Social: Models & families, mark your calendar to gather in celebration of the 2011-2012 Season!!
The cost of the 2011-12 Program is $250.00. Returning models and sibling fee is $200.00. A separate $20 Insurance fee will be charged from Mission Network during on-line Volunteer Model registration.
We will review the applications on a bi-monthly and send out acceptance letters. At that time, the registration fee will be due and the online insurance fee will be due. Anyone needing special financial arrangements should contact Shelley Morrissette at 460-1292.
