Pure Fashion will be hosting a display table during the entire weekend event. Models will grace the stage for two shows on Saturday, April 9th and one show on Sunday, April 10th. Additionally, we welcome back Bart Queen & Glenna Smith, of “Speak America”, who did a fabulous job co-emceeing, last year’s shows!! Pure Fashion Mother & Daughter Social: Welcome Special Guest Speakers, Mary Smith & Christina Condit. Mary and Christina are grounded Christian woman who are highly sought after speakers. Their experience includes years of professional expertise in leading Pure Fashion events on a national level. Come and enjoy a Fall Fashion Preview as Models and Moms are invited to a kick-off social and introduction to Pure Fashion Basics and Model integration. Heart and Soul Retreat: This weekend retreat will help renew the model's beauty inside and out. Models will get away for a fun weekend to build relationships and reflect on the deeper meanings of modesty and purity. Professional guest speakers will discuss topics including fashion tips and how to develop personal dignity and radiate true beauty through their relationships with God and others. The price of the weekend is included in model training program fee. More details to come.
Christmas Mission: "Blessed are the pure in heart..." As the Pure Fashion Models prepare their hearts for the holiday season, what could be a more beautiful way for them to display their true beauty than by creating an opportunity for them to love and serve others? We will be partnering with St. Andrew's Catholic Church and the Brown Bag Ministry in serving those in need downtown Raleigh. More details to come.
Elegant Expressions: Pure Fashion models are destined to be leaders and trendsetters and will therefore benefit by developing their communication skills. Special Guest Speakers, Bart Queen and Glenna Smith of “Speak America”, will conduct a fun filled workshop teaching Models public speaking skills and strategies as well as building their self-confidence. They will learn how to overcome stage fright and how to write a presentation. This event will be located at Storr Office Environments, 10800 World Trade Boulevard, Raleigh, NC 27617. Reflections / Salon Day: This is a special event for Models & Moms! Each model will receive professional hairstyling and make-up tips to enhance her natural beauty. This will be a fun day for Models and Moms to learn about make-up and hairstyling techniques from some of the area's most talented professionals. In addition, professional head shots will also be taken by Michael's Memories. More details to come.
Runway Training: Learn to walk the Runway with style and grace! On and off the runway, our body language and posture speak volumes, before we even say a word. Models will be required to attend either the February or March runway training session in preparation of the Southern Women’s Show. Models are welcome to attend both sessions. More details to come.
Mall Mission: Models will group in teams and head out to popular local stores and shop to create fun and trendy fashion outfits. This will be an opportunity for the Models to implement the Pure Fashion Guidelines as well as provide feedback to merchants. This event will be located at Crabtree Valley Mall, Raleigh.
