We are currently accepting applications for the Pure Fashion Program beginning Fall 2008.
The Pure Fashion Model Training Program is a seven-month training program that will include many fun and exciting opportunities for a young lady’s personal, physical, and spiritual development. Each monthly class will focus on topics that will help the future models gain confidence in personal presentation, etiquette and manners, and an appreciation for their God-given beauty that shines forth in their elegance, poise, and they way they treat others with respect.
The young ladies will meet with expert consultants to discover the hair, clothing, and make-up styles that are best suited for their unique beauty. They will be trained how to walk with grace, polish their public speaking skills, and dress stylishly for every occasion.
The program includes a mission that will help the girls grow in the virtue of generosity and gratitude and how they can make a positive impact in this world.
In our “Model Makeover Weekend” the girls will forge deeper friendships with each other and explore the practical and spiritual reasons for choosing modesty and purity for their lives.
The Model Training Program culminates in an exciting fashion show in the Spring of 2009 that is fun and entertaining for the whole family. The young ladies will model the current fashion trends put together in a way that is modest and attractive, thus setting a new trend for other girls who will follow their example.
MODEL TRAINING PROGRAM
The models will meet monthly at various locations to be communicated to the models directly.
Session 1: SPOTLIGHT ON BEAUTY
What is Pure Fashion? What does it take to be a Pure Fashion model? Get to know your fellow models.
Session 2: CHRISTMAS MISSION
Christmas is in the air! What is the true meaning of Christmas? As a model, you have been given the gift of dignity, beauty, and grace. Share that gift with others and help those who are lonely to know that someone cares about them this Christmas.
Session 3: REFLECTIONS
Who is that young woman in the mirror? A real model is a model from the inside out. Her beauty starts inside and shines out through how she looks, moves, dresses, and smiles. Models will meet at one of Sacramento's top beauty salons to learn how to enhance their natural beauty using proper hair and skin care techniques.
Session 4: FATHER DAUGHTER LUNCHEON
Your body language should exude grace and self-confidence. Not only are you in training to be a fashion model, but a real role model. Using proper etiquette shows that you respect yourself and those around you. Models will have a session to learn etiquette and manners.
Session 5: HEART AND SOUL MAKEOVER
Our weekend retreat will be a wonderful opportunity for the models to "get away," have fun with each other, and focus on the reasons behind choosing to be modest and pure. Some of the topics to be discussed will include the do's and don'ts of dressing to protect one's innocence and purity and learning how to be modern, stylish, and pretty without being provocative.
Session 6: ELEGANT EXPRESSIONS
Confidence in speaking before a group comes from being authentic and confident in your message. The models will learn how to express themselves elegantly and convincingly from a professional speaker and trainer.
Session 7: RUNWAYS OF LIFE
Showtime is around the corner! The Pure Fashion models will learn the real techniques of runway modeling and rehearse for the big event. But what shines through the grace, style, and confidence of the young woman who steps on the runway are the virtues of a Model of the Great Designer, her Creator. She lives up to her Designer's fashions and knows how to walk with dignity, sharing her love with the world.
Session 8: PURE FASHION SHOW!
Enjoy the Pure Fashion Show. A first-class production of fun, wholesome family entertainment and food. The Pure Fashion models will be the latest trendsetters of style and virtue! Pure Fashion will change the culture ... one outfit at a time!
